These conditions cover all activities and experiences sold by Alpine Vertigo, including ski, snowboard, off-piste skiing, the Vallée Blanche and other winter and summer activities.

Choose the document matching the format sold in your booking confirmation. A programme sold as one booking over several days uses the multi-day schedule; independently booked activities are assessed separately. Read these documents with our Terms & Conditions. Existing accepted bookings are not changed retrospectively. Mandatory statutory rights take precedence.

Email contact@alpinevertigo.com, stating the booking name, reference, activity and scheduled date. Notice is measured from the time your email is received to the scheduled start of the activity, using the local time at the activity location (Europe/Paris for activities in France).
A day means 24 hours. For day and half-day bookings, exactly 15 days falls within the 100% band. For multi-day bookings, exactly 60, 30, 15 and 7 days falls within the 30%, 50%, 75% and 100% bands respectively. For a multi-day programme sold as one booking, the start is the start of that programme; for separately booked activities, each activity is assessed separately. A requested change is confirmed only when Alpine Vertigo agrees it in writing.

Payments already received are credited against the cancellation charge. Any excess is refunded; any balance remains payable, subject to applicable law. No additional administration fee is imposed by this schedule.
Illness, injury, travel disruption and other personal circumstances follow this schedule, subject to statutory rights and applicable force majeure rules. A claim under your own insurance is assessed by your insurer under its policy.

Percentages apply to the agreed price of the cancelled booking. Payments received are credited against the charge; any excess is refunded and any outstanding amount remains due, subject to applicable law. This schedule adds no separate administration fee.
Where part of a booking is cancelled, the calculation must identify the affected services and their agreed price. A reduction in participant numbers does not automatically permit a new price for the remaining participants: any revised arrangement requires their agreement, subject to mandatory rules.
Where mandatory travel rules apply, charges must be reasonable and justifiable, taking account of cost savings and resale income, and are reduced where legally required. Rights to cancel without charge in qualifying exceptional and unavoidable circumstances remain applicable. See the full stay conditions.

Requests to change the date, time or participants are subject to availability and written confirmation from Alpine Vertigo. If a requested change cannot be agreed and you cancel, the cancellation schedule above applies, subject to your statutory rights.
Please arrive ready to begin at the agreed meeting point and time. Late arrival does not extend the scheduled finishing time. Unused time caused by late arrival or a voluntary early departure is not refunded, subject to applicable law.

Snowfall, rain, low visibility, cold or other adverse weather does not automatically cancel an activity or entitle you to a refund where the agreed service can be delivered safely. The responsible guide, instructor or activity professional assesses conditions and may make reasonable safety adjustments within the agreed service. A substantial change outside the agreed service requires your agreement.
If Alpine Vertigo cancels because conditions are unsafe, relevant closures prevent the activity, or the agreed service cannot be delivered, you may choose an available alternative or a full refund of the cancelled booking. You are not required to accept an alternative or a credit. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

If Alpine Vertigo cancels an activity before it begins, you may choose an available alternative or a full refund of the payments received for that activity.
If Alpine Vertigo has to stop an activity after it has begun and cannot deliver the remaining booked service, you may choose a credit or a proportional refund for the unused part. The amount reflects the part of the agreed service not delivered; for time-based instruction or guiding, this is the unused booked time. This does not limit any further remedy available under applicable law.

Cancellation because of illness, injury, travel disruption or another personal circumstance follows the customer cancellation schedule above, subject to applicable statutory rights and force majeure rules.
We recommend suitable activity, rescue, repatriation and cancellation insurance, including winter sports and off-piste cover where relevant to your booking. Check the activities and terrain covered, exclusions and claim requirements directly with your insurer. Personal accident, rescue, medical and cancellation cover is not implied by this policy or by the professional’s liability insurance.

Lift passes, equipment rental, transport, accommodation and other services that you contract separately with external suppliers remain subject to those suppliers’ terms. A refund of the Alpine Vertigo activity does not itself determine the treatment of those separate contracts.
This distinction does not remove Alpine Vertigo’s obligations for services included in a booking sold by us, including any obligations applicable to a package travel contract. Nothing here limits rights available under applicable law.

For a leisure activity booked for a specified date or period, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply under Article L.221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code. The cancellation provisions above apply to these dated activities. This exception does not automatically extend to undated services or other contracts.
